1982: Crafting Complete Chairs

Eight years later, in 1982, we evolved from crafting components to manufacturing complete office chairs. This transition showcased our commitment to creating ergonomic chairs that prioritise both comfort and functionality.

1985: Global Expansion and Success

By 1985, Merryfair expanded globally, successfully exporting our complete office chairs. This marked a significant achievement, propelling us into the international furniture manufacturing spotlight.

1992: Diversification and Comprehensive Solutions

In 1992, Merryfair boldly diversified operations, establishing a new plant in Rawang, Malaysia. Encompassing 1.5 acres, this expansion allowed us to offer comprehensive office furniture solutions beyond chairs.

2000: Fulkrum and Export Milestone

Entering the new millennium, we achieved a milestone with the Fulkrum, our flagship mesh chair. Simultaneously, we reached the capability to export 100 containers of innovative office furniture monthly.

2005: Merryfair in China

In 2005, Merryfair expanded its global footprint with a presence in China. This strategic move, comprising a manufacturing plant and sales office, solidified our international standing.

2008: State-of-the-Art Facility in Klang

In 2008, we relocated to Klang, unveiling a state-of-the-art plant covering 65,000 square metres. This facility integrated chair manufacturing, steel fabrication, plastic injection moulding, wood panel processing, and raw materials warehousing.

2008: Merryfair Singapore

The same year witnessed the establishment of a sales office in Singapore, fortifying our regional presence and commitment to Southeast Asia.

2009: Merryfair Thailand

Expanding further in 2009, Merryfair ventured into Thailand, establishing both a plant and a sales office. This emphasised our commitment to providing high-quality furniture solutions, including wooden furniture.

2015: Expanded Production with a New Factory in Thailand.

In 2015, we diversified manufacturing in Thailand, setting up a factory dedicated to wooden furniture production. This move broadened our product offering to meet the demand for a more extensive range of furniture solutions.

2017: China Office and Factory Expansion

In 2017, our China operations witnessed a strategic relocation and expansion, bolstering our capabilities in the region.

2019: Greenguard Gold Certification

In 2019, we achieved Greenguard Gold certification for our products, underscoring our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

2023: Thailand Showroom in Pathum Wan District

In 2023, Merryfair inaugurated a new showroom in the Pathum Wan district of Thailand to offer a captivating display of our innovative furniture solutions.

2024: Celebrating 50 Years and Global Aspirations
